THE PERSON BEHIND THE VAULT
Hey, I'm Adam.
Collector first. Business owner second.
Cards have been part of my life for a long time, mostly because hockey has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I started playing when I was really young and eventually played all the way through the minor pro level, so naturally hockey cards were my entry into collecting.
I also happened to grow up during a pretty awesome era for hockey cards. Crosby and Ovechkin were coming into the league, rookie cards felt like something you genuinely wanted to chase, and opening packs was just part of being a hockey-obsessed kid.
Like a lot of people, I got older and collecting eventually took a back seat to work, family and everything else going on in life.
Then the pandemic happened.
I started watching a ton of soccer and completely fell in love with the sport. That eventually led me back into cards, except this time I found myself collecting soccer.
With the 2026 World Cup coming to the U.S., Canada and Mexico, I became really interested in where the soccer card market could go. Baseball and basketball have always been huge parts of the American hobby, and soccer started to feel like it had a real chance to join them.
So I started buying more cards. Then boxes. Then cases.
And somewhere along the way I developed another hobby: spending way too much time figuring out where to buy them.
I'd have eBay open, Google open, five different card shops open, checking shipping, comparing prices and looking for coupons — all because I wanted to make sure I wasn't paying more than I needed to.
Eventually I got tired of it.
That's really where the idea for Vault & Co. came from.
I wanted to build the store I was constantly looking for myself — somewhere I could go for soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball, football and everything else without having to search half the internet first.
And I don't want Vault & Co. to become another place that gets inventory and immediately asks, "What's the absolute most we can charge for this?"
I'd rather be the opposite.
My goal is to be one of the most competitively priced shops on the internet. I want you to check Vault & Co. first because you already know there's a good chance the price is going to be hard to beat.
I'd much rather make a little less on an order and have you come back ten more times than make every possible dollar off you once.
Outside of cards, I work in technology, spend a lot of time with my family, play golf whenever I can, still stay involved with hockey, play some poker, and probably watch more soccer than I should.
There isn't some giant company behind Vault & Co. There's an actual collector on the other side of the website. If you send an email asking about a box, an order, or just something you're trying to track down, there's a pretty good chance you're talking directly to me.
I'm building the kind of card shop I'd want to shop at myself.
Hopefully it becomes yours too.
